Welcome to the Wath-Upon-Dearne Morris Team website. The team aims to continue dancing some of the English Dancing Traditions, from the Cotswolds and Border regions of the country – along with some Rapper Sword dances. They dance regularly in and around South Yorkshire as well as performing around the British Isles and occasionally abroad. The Wath Morris Team have performed as far away as France, Holland, Belgium and Ireland.

The team has a high percentage of Musicians and Singers amongst it’s members and apart from achieving widespread recognition as Morris dancers they are well known for entertaining after the dancing is over, often in the nearest Hostelry. On occasions the team have provided a Ceilidh band to provide a different and extra dimension to their repertoire. The following pages give some basic information about the team and it’s activities.
