Wath Mummers in 2008
Wath will again be joining Barnsley Longsword for the annual festival. The evening begins at the Station Hotel around 7.45pm with a dancing display followed by a procession to the Thornley Arms for more dancing some singing and a mummers play.

This year the event will finish at the Rugby Club on Moor Road with fireworks and an evening of traditional songs, music and mumming. The tradition tour will begin in Wath outside the HSBC bank at 10.30am. Then to Wentworth Post Office around 11.00 am, Rockingham Arms around 11.45am to 12.30pm , George and Dragon around 12.45pm.
